Bottles of Olive Oil & Herbs

1. Fill decorative food-grade glass bottles with oilve oil. To save on cost, extra-large bottles or cans of oil can be purchased at such stores as Costco, Sam's Club, or Wal-mart.

2. Place a few snips of herbs inside. Dried herbs work very well, but fresh herbs can be used as well. If fresh herbs are your preference, the finished product may need to be refrigerated to prevent bacteria growth. If you don't have time to dry the herbs, see our quick-dry tip here.

Some suggested herbs:

Oregano
Thyme
Rosemary
Basil
Sage
Savory
Taragon
Dill
Lime or Lemon Peel
